A Passion for Studio Ceramics

Founded in 2016 by collector and artist advocate Steve Basile, Curated Ceramics specializes in American studio pottery, connecting collectors with work by established and emerging artists.

After moving to Minneapolis in 2006, Steve discovered the work of Warren MacKenzie and became involved in the region's vibrant studio pottery community. The relationships he developed with artists and collectors eventually led to the founding of Curated Ceramics.

Today, Curated Ceramics specializes in vintage American studio pottery, helping artists, collectors, and estates find new homes for work that deserves to be enjoyed for generations to come.

Steve

Steve has spent decades collecting studio ceramics, championing artists, and connecting people with their work. In addition to running Curated Ceramics, he founded and manages two active Facebook communities, Studio Pottery Collectors and Studio Pottery Identification, with nearly 40,000 members combined.
